This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Maps & external links

This website does not embed Google Maps. Selecting directions opens Google Maps as a separate website. Directions and social links take you to external services with their own privacy policies. See Google’s privacy policy.

Private preview access

The public website does not require a preview passphrase or set the green_review cookie. Private development previews may use this essential browser-session cookie after a passphrase is entered, with access limited to eight hours. It is not used for advertising or analytics.

Booking requests & enquiries

When you send a booking request, we store your name, contact details, preferred date and time, guest numbers and message in Supabase. We use these details to check availability, arrange your booking and contact you by email through Resend or by phone. Sending a request does not confirm a booking. We only invite you to join the mailing list if you tick the optional news-and-offers box. You then need to confirm your email before joining the list or receiving a welcome voucher. You can request a booking without subscribing. Please don’t put sensitive personal information in the form; contact the team to discuss detailed requirements or ask about your information.

Email queries & shared replies

Resend receives emails sent to Jack and replies about bookings. We store the conversation address, message text, sender and delivery details in our private database so the team can reply and see what’s already been answered. Enquiries and booking messages are forwarded to the team’s chosen inboxes. Replies come from The Green’s address, with private copies sent to those inboxes. Resend also handles attachments. Emailing us does not sign you up for marketing. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information by email; contact the team if you need to discuss it.

Email updates

When you sign up, we store your email address, your name if you give it, and the dates you gave consent and confirmed your email. These details are stored in Supabase. Resend sends the confirmation and marketing emails. Your first confirmation link is valid for 72 hours. If you have not confirmed when it expires, we send one reminder with a replacement link valid for 24 hours and a way to cancel your signup. We do not send further automatic reminders. You only join the mailing list after confirming your address. Your welcome voucher is held until you confirm; its 30 days start at confirmation. For the welcome offer, we also store your voucher code, issue and expiry dates, email delivery status and whether the voucher has been used. Your voucher is issued after you confirm your email and is valid for 30 days. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you don’t need to sign in to use it. Unsubscribing does not cancel a voucher you’ve already received. We keep a minimal record of your choice so we don’t send you more marketing emails. We don’t track email opens or clicks. Contact the team to ask for access to your information or request its deletion.

Administrator access

The separate administration area uses the essential green_admin cookie to keep staff signed in for up to 365 days from sign-in. Signing out ends the server session and removes the cookie sooner. Editing and sending actions are recorded to help protect the website.

Watching the film

Our film streams through Mux. Mux receives technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the video. We disable Mux analytics tracking and tracking cookies in the player. If streaming fails, an automatic backup of the same film is hosted by this website. See Mux’s privacy policy.
